Academia

Today I made the decision to change the name of our homeschool.  We have always been "Harris Homeschool", but lately Tabbi has been having a problem with the word "school".  Just hearing the word makes her put on the brakes and NOT want to do anything that has to do with school.  So I told her we will not be DOING school next year!  We are going to do "Life Training" instead!  lol, school by another name!  But we are also going to throw away the text books and workbooks for the most part and do LOTS more hands-on child-led learning.  SO.... I changed the name of our "school" to "Academia"  and this year we will be "Life Training".  Suddenly she's excited!  Me too!  A whole new direction for us!
