Tabbi's garden

Tabbi has a garden of her own.  She has planted both flowers and some vegetables under the "Veggie Trails" sign by the end of our driveway.

Bird nest

 Tabbi found this nest in our yard.  It was under a tree.  I'm assuming it was blown down, or possibly the cat knocked it down.  There is an egg there, but it has a crack in it and looks as if it's been that way for quite some time.

This is a view of the nest from the side.  The inside of the nest is made with thin grasses and the outside has much wider grass!

Second day of camping - July 14

Camping on July 13, 2012

We went camping for the first time in AGES!  We took the whole family up to Pattison State Park and camped, swam, hiked and had LOTS of fun!

Bike ride to the pond

 Tabbi and I went for a bike ride on the Pine Line Trail this afternoon.

 We stopped at the mill pond for some pictures and exploration.

 We found a snail shell in the water...

 and some crayfish.

 These were taken through the water, so they are a bit blurry and off color.

 We also saw a damselfly...

And a green bottle fly on a forget-me-not.
