Wet and Wild

 Today we went with our homeschool group to a class called "Wet and Wild".  The kids were given nets and specimen pans.  We went to the edge of a lake to see what we could find.  The kids all found lots of interesting creatures.  Tabbi and I found two minnows, 4 bullfrog tadpoles, dragonfly nymphs, snails, fingernail clams, a BIG spider, caddisfly larvae and several other bugs.

Poor Tabbi, we went on a homeschool field trip to the hospital today, but she got sick!  First we went to the x-ray room and they showed x-rays of broken bones, then on to the lab where they talked about and showed  bags of blood and plasma.  That's as far as we got... Tabbi was ready to go home!  She was very pale and sweating and couldn't WAIT to get OUT of there!  Guess we won't be sending her to medical school!  I did get a couple of pictures before we left! :D
