A fun lesson in mixing colors!

We had some fun mixing colors! First we filled a jumbo muffin pan with shaving cream, then added different food colors to each one,


Then added MORE color... etc, until we ended with this!


She sat in the tub and played with it a bit...




before washing it all away.


Look at all the pretty colors! :D

Tabbi turns 8

I took Tabbi to get her hair cut on her 8th birthday. This is the "before" picture.


And this is after they cut 13" off! She donated her hair to Locks of Love and got her picture in the newspaper!

This is her sandcastle birthday cake. No artificial colors!


And I had to show you the "Hello Kitty" hat her big sis, Charity, made for her. She hardly took it off for the next few days!

Ox Cart Man

We read the book "Ox Cart Man" today, then made some beeswax candles. Tabbi's is the pink one, mine is white.

Bird count

Tabbi counted birds one day. She made tally marks in her nature journal for the birds she saw on the sunflower feeder and on the suet feeder.

Licorice wanted to watch the birds, too!

Wow, has it been over a month since I posted anything? Well, we went shopping on Black Friday and bought Tabbi a new bike for her birthday!
